Flatweave, Cochineal, Logwood, and Iron

This piece was a real exercise in the color purple. It took many experiments with cochineal to get this shade right.

I was thinking about art deco design elements, and architectural refinements while weaving and elements from both can be seen in the curvilinear shape and light grey lines.
